Weekend Looks

Weekend Looks

I might be getting a little ahead of myself but I cannot wait for Christmas already! It’s my favorite holiday and favorite time of year, especially in the city. I was tempted to take out our Christmas decorations when Will reminded me that we haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving yet (mind you this was the day after Halloween!) With Thanksgiving right around the corner I’m prepping for a dish to cook, and getting some early Christmas shopping done.

Friday Look Houndstooth

Friday: Tonight I’m trading in my heels for these over the knee boots. With little effort you can transform the overall look with a dark lip (Nars Scarlet Empress)

Go to: BK Night Bazaar – you’ll find perfect gifts for your loved ones for the holidays, or for yourself! Good food and unique pop up shops are the perfect recipe for a great night!

Saturday Night Look

Saturday: I bought this shirt a while back at Necessary clothing, and while I’ve stopped shopping  there, this top is still one of my favorites in my closet. It’s busy and that pattern can be overwhelming but that’s what I like about it. Dressed up with booties and faux leather leggings, I’m ready for a night out!

hanger steak st anselmGo to: Get dinner at St. Anselm for some savory steak and the best fried mashed potatoes. Try to get there early though because they don’t take reservations and the place is always crowded during the weekends (photo cred)

Sunday Chill Look

Sunday: Grayed out – Stay comfortable in a sweatshirt and patterned scarf (I stole this one from Will, shhh). To add some femininity wear a fun accessory like this cuff, a matching clutch and mirrored flats.

Sweet ChickGo to: Sweet Chick – indulge in some of the best fried chicken and waffles you’ll ever experience! The vibe is super chill and the bartenders are really friendly. So if it’s just you, post up at the bar and enjoy! (photo from website)
