With the weather in NY actually feeling like Spring I find myself taking more leisurely walks; especially now that it’s still light out when I get out of work. The best part about the weather getting warmer, besides having to wear less layers, is spending more time outside and being able to watch the sunset. Every place that I travel to I make it a rule to watch the sun set; the colors that linger in the sky as the sun goes down are hypnotizing. Its a reminder of how beautiful this world is…it’s also a good time to reflect on the day, to appreciate all that we have. I would love to see pictures of sunsets that you have taken – simply add a photo on instagram and use the hashtag #GMBsunset (or just hashtag old photos that you have).
I took this photo last night while I went for a quick run outside in Brooklyn. I loved that the pastel colors in the sky signified that Spring is really here!
This is one of my favorite sunset photos that I got at Jaco beach in Costa Rica
Another shot at Jaco beach
How gorgeous is this photo which was taken from Will’s old apartment in Williamsburg – the view is incredible!
I took this photo at Orlando Studios in Florida – it looked like something out of a fairy-tale
Another photo at Orlando Studios – it almost looked as though the face was about to come to life
This was taken in Puerto Rico the weekend I helped one of my best friends get married
The sunset over St. Thomas and the surrounding islands made me feel blessed to have such incredible friends to travel with. What an amazing girls trip!
Yes this one is a little sappy…but it just seemed like the perfect opportunity ;) …our friends got this during the July 4th weekend in Montauk
Took this at the Wythe Hotel – Manhattan is a lot prettier when you’re on the other side
Will and I took our first trip to Nantucket and on the first night we walked along the beach
Another Brooklyn shot overlooking the Williamsburg Bridge
I took this on my first business trip to Miami – it looked as though a storm was coming
Taking the subway isn’t my favorite form of transportation but when I catch sunsets like this I don’t feel all that bad about standing in a crowded train
Another shot taken in Williamsburg – the sky looked like cotton candy
Last but not least this was taken the first weekend I moved to Brooklyn. I caught the sun just before it was swallowed by the horizon.
