I find that it’s so hard to look cute, or rather ‘put together’ during the winter months when I typically have to hide behind layers, big scarves, and bulky coats. And, since I’d rather not freeze my ass for the sake of fashion, I’m always in search for a good sweater or accessory that will keep me feeling both warm and stylish. This ruffled sweatshirt was the perfect find at H&M! At first I was a bit hesitant to try this new trend of ruffled sweatshirts, especially because when I was a little girl I always fussed when I would be dressed up in all things ruffles, even down to my socks. But I actually like the feminine and edgy vibe that it gives off to an otherwise plain black sweater; and it can be worn with just about anything. Paired with my new favorite knit hat (I spotted one night in the window of a shop on Bedford Ave and just had to have), I’m ready to take on the cold weather in style.
