I know I’ve been mia from the blog for the past few weeks, but am trying to get back on track starting this week! I’ve been getting settled into my new job at HBO and have been traveling a lot in the process, so I apologize for not staying current on the blog!
I honestly don’t even know where September has gone, time has been flying by lately and since the weather has been so warm in NY it still feels like summer. Trying to keep up with fall traditions, a couple of weeks ago I went to the renaissance fair with a few friends. It’s always a good time, and I love to see the people dressed up and really getting into character. A flower crown and floral dress is usually more than enough for me…although I’ll admit, last year I bought a gypsy coin sarong.
Channeling my inner Katniss…
It’s a rule, you can’t pass this bridge without giving a kiss to a loved one ;)
My lovely friends preparing for battle…or simply making a fashion statement. Who wore it better?
Besides playing Katniss for a day, the past few weeks have been filled with travels to Illinois, Iowa, and Florida for work. Traveling for work isn’t all that bad, especially when I’m able to catch these gorgeous views!
This past Saturday we were all dressed up for our friend’s wedding. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and the reception was a blast. We couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds! As wedding season is upon us finding the right dress was really frustrating, but thanks to several friends who swear by Rent the runway, I gave it a chance and rented this beautiful red dress. The whole process was so easy and the dress fit perfectly! I totally recommend checking out Rent the runway for any formal event, or wedding.
