Less is More

Getting dressed and ready can take up to an hour for me…especially when I have those moments when I look in my closet and swear I have ‘nothing’ to wear. But now that the weather is getting nicer I’m drawn to the lighter colors, basic tees and classic white jeans. Sometimes less is more! I love wearing all white since it gives off a classic and crisp look (not to mention it also makes me look tanner than I am). I broke up my white on white outfit with a simple brown belt and leopard flat slip on sneakers. Adding subtle accessories, like this bandanna turns the outfit from basic to fun.

What’s great about Brooklyn is that even if you don’t have plans to do anything, walking through the neighborhood is an adventure in itself. You never know what you’ll stumble upon, and in this case, after this fun photo-shoot, my friend and I ended up having mouth-watering bacon at the Smorgasburg, and drinking out of coconuts. Also now that the L is currently not working on the weekends gives me just another excuse not to leave the burg!
