I haven’t been consistent with my posts this week since I just recently returned from Miami. I can’t believe how quickly this month is flying by and how miserable the weather in New York has been. Honestly, all of it has totally taken me off guard that I completely forgot that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day; (and my mother’s birthday is on Saturday). I’m not really big on the holiday so I’ve never made it a big deal. As far as gifts go I prefer to create those that are more personalized.
A couple of years ago I made this scrap book of all the places Will and I had eaten in Manhattan and in Brooklyn. With every place I critiqued the food and described our experience, along with a personal note. This way we can look back and remember how much fun we had or even how terrible the food was. It’s also great to have so that when our friends ask us where to eat we can look to this scrapbook to remind us of our favorite restaurants. Not only was the gift inexpensive but it was personal and it helps us reminisce of our first dates.
The only materials you need are: 3 ring photo album binder, sticker stars, and a printer
*I look forward to sharing one of our favorite brunch spots and perfect restaurant for a chill Valentine’s Day dinner tomorrow on the blog.
