With the Fall-like weather we’ve been having lately, I’ve been able to leave my apartment with only a jean jacket! Although I love that it has been warm out, I can’t help but feel like Christmas is far away. For a born bred New Yorker, getting into the Holiday spirit while it’s 63 degrees outside just doesn’t seem right. Don’t get me wrong…I am far away from becoming Scrooge, Christmas is my favorite holiday after all, but I’ve never wanted it to snow more than I have now. But for now, dressing for this weather has been fun seeing as how I can leave the layers and stockings at home.
I am obsessed with over the knee boots, especially paired with a flirty skirt like the one I’m wearing. This outfit actually reminds me of my high school uniform, where I wore my grey wool skirt with knee high socks and black shoes everyday. I love bringing the look back now but in an edgier way. And since fashion these days have been so retro the look doesn’t seem outdated, even with a “90s” choker.
