It’s the little things

Fall AccessoriesAltuzzara for TargetDerek Jeter DayYankeesInspiring QuoteIt’s been feeling like summer all over again in NYC with the little heat wave we had last week. While I’m still enjoying the warmth I’m ready to switch to Fall and get back to the tradition of things. Here are a few things helping me transition into the new season and what to look forward to ahead…

I’m happy to kick off the week with this much appreciated gift from TJ maxx – I was chosen as a daily winner! Thanks TJMAXX! Can’t wait to head to the store to find something to add to my wardrobe, or maybe for my new office : )

And of course getting through the thick September issue of Vogue to get inspired

I’ve been obsessing over the color maroon, which is one of my favorite colors to wear for Fall. These Calvin Klein flats I snagged at Century 21 are perfect for work or a day out in the city, and to make it extra chic I’ll be pairing them with this hat from Aldo.

This upcoming Sunday the Altuzarra for target collection will be out! And I’ve already got my eyes on this beautiful army pea coat. Check out more of the collection here.

Yesterday Jeter was honored with his own day (Jeter Day), along with an emotional ceremony that had fans in the stands chanting his name. He’s been my favorite Yankee ever since I was 7 years old and everyone who knows me knows that he’s the reason why I’ve loved the Yankees for the last 20 years. I’m sad to see him retire but my love and support for the Yankees will go on. Derek Jeter will surely be missed!

My favorite part of any Yankees game (besides the nachos, and cheese fries) is dancing the Y-M-C-A! I always embarrass my friends when I dance along.

Bought this inspirational magnet for my fridge as good reminder to let go of the past and be optimistic about the future, while remaining true to yourself!
