Thanksgiving-2
Food

Happy Thanksgiving!

Besides eating Turkey, and feasting on food, Thanksgiving is another reminder to be grateful for everything that we have and for the things or people we may take for granted. I’m especially grateful for all the big and little things that have happened this past year: new job, stronger relationships, new relationships, traveling to Thailand, visiting family, and more!  I especially love this holiday because I’m able to catch up with my family, and learn some tips and tricks on cooking turkey and pernil from my grandmother. The past couple of Thanksgivings I cooked lasagna (not traditional by any means), but this year I’ve made a sweet potato casserole. It’s the perfect sweet compliment to the salty turkey and stuffing. And it’s sweet enough for dessert! What will you be cooking for Thanksgiving?

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! And go ahead, give tighter hugs to your loved ones, go for seconds, and give thanks with a grateful heart!
